We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Assistant to join our team at Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and efficient shop service to residents, dependent children, and staff.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a retail environment and be able to use their own initiative to work to tight deadlines. They will also have excellent organizational skills and be able to manage stock control systems to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock control systems to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
  • Operate/participate in the ordering process
  • Use computer-based software to service resident shop requirements
  • Ensure stock is held appropriately and securely to minimize shrinkage
  • Liaise with other departments as required
