Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our dynamic team. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive HR support to the Head of HR and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Prepare recruitment documentation, manage DBS renewals, and handle flexible working requests and leaves of absence.
- Employee Relations and Legal Compliance: Provide support for employee relations casework, act as a note-taker during meetings, and ensure compliance with employment law.
- Payroll and Compensation: Input monthly payroll changes, support payroll processing, and manage compliance with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage regulations.
- Training and Development: Oversee the Government Apprenticeship Service, deliver HR training sessions, and manage training feedback and recognition programs.
Person Specification:
We are looking for a candidate with:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification with up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in payroll, HR administration, and employee relations.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Access to own transport for travel to nursery settings.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
