Senior Quality Officer

The University of Central Lancashire is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Officer to join its Academic Quality Unit. This key role will be responsible for providing specialist professional advice to internal and external stakeholders and will be expected to take a team-based approach to the workload of the Academic Quality Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist professional advice to internal and external stakeholders on academic quality, standards, and enhancement activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the academic community and professional service teams to ensure the effective operation of academic quality, standards, and enhancement activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the University's Curriculum Transformation plans.
  • Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Take a flexible approach to working hours and be willing to work evenings and weekends occasionally.

About the Role:

This is a fixed-term contract for 24 months due to the need for specialist expertise. The role will require the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of academic quality, standards, and enhancement activities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
