About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Lifting Equipment Inspector. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test lifting equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Conduct thorough inspections of lifting equipment, including MEWPs, excavators, lifting tackle, HIABs, and powered access
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with lifting equipment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on lifting equipment inspection and maintenance procedures

Requirements:

  • HNC level education in a relevant field
  • Experience in maintaining and servicing lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
