O-I is seeking a skilled Batch & Furnace Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our furnace and batch processing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the furnace and batch processing systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support the Batch & Furnace team in their daily operations and provide assistance as needed.
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve operational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining industrial equipment, preferably in a manufacturing or processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift, including nights and weekends, as required.
