Digital Channels Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Channels Specialist to join our team at North West London Pathology. As a key member of our digital communications team, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of our new website and creating engaging and persuasive multi-channel content.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month fixed-term role that requires a strong background in content writing and web copywriting, as well as technical expertise and knowledge of content management systems. You will work closely with our digital communications officer to support our social media platforms and create content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the implementation of our new website and ensure it meets our business objectives.
- Create engaging and persuasive multi-channel content, including microsites, landing pages, emails, social posts, videos, case studies, presentations, and toolkits.
- Work with our digital communications officer to support our social media platforms and create content that resonates with our audience.
- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure that all digital content is consistent and meets our brand standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Technical expertise in content management systems and web-based applications.
- Graphic design qualification.
- High-level editorial flair and a flexible writing style to target different audiences.
- Ability to communicate clearly and simply about digital technology and how it can be employed to achieve business objectives.
- Ability to understand a problem and communicate appropriate solutions.
- Experience in using content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, and Adobe design software.
- Experience in project managing website/intranet implementations/developments within a corporate communications team environment.
