Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary focus of the Financial Accounting Lead will be to enhance reporting mechanisms that facilitate informed decision-making across the business.
- Develop and sustain the cost accounting framework, actively participating in the formulation of new product cost assessments.
- Prepare and present monthly financial statements, alongside a thorough analysis of production expenses and variances.
- Assist operational teams in identifying, executing, and monitoring productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Oversee the capital investment evaluation process, ensuring comprehensive appraisals prior to management approval.
- Provide necessary support to the finance department on various projects and topics as required.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and industry best practices.
- Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA are essential.
- A degree in business or finance is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role within complex manufacturing, engineering, or FMCG sectors.
