About the Role

As a non-agency Cleaning Specialist working directly for QinetiQ, you will have a role that is out of the ordinary, delivering a vital cleaning schedule / specification on a daily basis and responding to specific needs, as required, working at our Ministry of Defence (MoD) military aircraft testing site which hosts two operational runways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility.
  • Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals as well as disposing of waste materials and adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Liaise directly with the Soft Services and Group Property function teams for repair and maintenance needs across the site.
  • Provide flexible support across various facilities within the existing team, spanning across a range of both cutting-edge and historical facilities used for test purposes.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience within cleaning or housekeeping.
  • The ability to follow relevant cleaning schedules and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Physically fit due to the manual nature of the role.
  • Good Communicator.
  • Team Player with a willingness to also undertake lone working on large MoD site across multiple buildings.
