Job Summary

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking a skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in a community setting. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled nursing support and effective care planning, implementation, and evaluation of agreed interventions under the supervision of the Nurse Team Leader.
  • Manage your own caseload, coordinating care delivery and providing direct delivery of care via one-to-one sessions, treatment clinics, and Resource Centre Duty.
  • Provide supervision to junior staff and take charge in the absence of the Nurse Team Leader.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for individuals with complex mental health needs.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience working in a mental health setting, with a strong interest in community-based care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Current driving license and ability to travel to various locations.
