Financial Operations Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Adele Carr Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Oversee the daily bank reconciliation of Current and Client Accounts on Sage, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FCA rules and regulations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process supplier invoices and credit notes, and organise supplier payments and direct debits, as well as process customer invoices and record payments received.
- Expenses and Commissions: Approve expenses in Expense on Demand software, import to Sage, and organise monthly payments to employees, as well as process commissions for sales staff and brokers.
- Credit Card and VAT: Download and code monthly credit card statements, and prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- Management Accounts and Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and debtors reports, as well as sales analysis reports.
- FCA Compliance: Review the FCA RegData website and complete FCA submissions as required, adhering to all FCA deadlines.
- Year-End Processes: Participate in the annual Sage year-end process and gather information for accountants for their year-end and audit processes.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in accounts payable/receivable/bookkeeping, client money accounting, and preparing management accounts.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, data analysis, Sage Accounts 50, and office software such as Word, Adobe, and Outlook.
