About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Careers Advisor to join our dynamic HR team at Addleshaw Goddard. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our trainees and contributing to the growth and talent pipeline of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee future trainee communications to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
  • Arrange integration events to foster a sense of community among trainees
  • Conduct regular progress chats to support trainee development and address any challenges
  • Handle offer paperwork and Law Society registration processes to ensure a smooth transition into the firm
  • Manage trainee ER issues and monitor trainee utilisation to optimize their contribution to the business
  • Ensure delivery of required training to equip trainees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Plan and execute the firm's Newly Qualified (NQ) processes to support the transition of trainees into qualified lawyers
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence at senior levels and build strong relationships with trainees and business partners
  • A strong team orientation and ability to work collaboratively to achieve shared goals
  • A tenacious and resilient approach to challenging issues, coupled with dynamic problem-solving abilities
  • Project management skills and experience in planning and organizing multiple tasks
  • A background in HR within the legal sector is desirable, but not essential
