Estates Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Estates Maintenance Operative to join our team at Grand Union Housing Group. As an Estates Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers enjoy safe and well-kept outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including grass cutting, pruning, and weeding.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance to outdoor spaces, including fences, gates, and pathways.
  • Operate a range of equipment, including lawn mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or grounds maintenance role.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
