Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Global Group Partnerships Ltd, a leading and growing façade contractor in the UK.

If you have experience with curtain walling, façade, architectural glazing, glazing, structural glass, cladding, and the exteriors, then this will be an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. JCT Contract administration.
  2. Variation costing/submittal and agreement.
  3. Valuation submittals.
  4. Pre-qual submittals using company forms.
  5. Cost Planning / Estimating.
  6. Site visits / surveys / take offs using BlueBeam.
  7. Measure progress against invoices.
  8. Contract reviewing.
  9. Liaising with client QS.
  10. Commercial tracking / spend reviews.
  11. Forming final accounts.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with experience in façade and curtain walling projects. You will be responsible for administering JCT contracts, managing variation costs, and preparing valuation submittals. You will also be responsible for site visits, cost planning, and commercial tracking.
