Our services encompass design, digital printing, print finishing, and mailing, all efficiently managed from our dedicated facility.
We are in search of a skilled Accounts Assistant who will be instrumental in facilitating the daily financial operations of Acanthus.
- Manage Sales Ledger by generating sales invoices in Tharstens and exporting them to Sage.
- Distribute credit application forms to prospective clients and secure proforma payments when necessary.
- Process credit card transactions efficiently.
- Address customer account inquiries promptly.
- Record Goods Received in the Management Information System (MIS).
- Handle Purchase Ledger by entering purchase invoices into Tharstens and Sage.
- Resolve any purchase ledger discrepancies with suppliers and internal personnel.
- Compile payroll hours accurately.
- Maintain records of staff holidays and absences.
- Manage incoming calls and provide reception support.
- Offer administrative assistance to management and the sales team.
- Generate Delivery Notes and Royal Mail documentation.
- Organize and file job bags and delivery paperwork meticulously.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required for Head Office.
Required Skills:
- At least two years of relevant experience in an accounting position.
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts.
- Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Capability to take initiative and prioritize tasks effectively.
Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 per annum, based on experience.
Hours: 9am to 5pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Holidays: 33 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
Workplace Pension: Available.
