Advanced Practitioner Radiographer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join our team as an Advanced Practitioner. This exciting opportunity will enable you to develop your expertise in plain film image reporting and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiography, with experience in plain film image reporting and a proven ability to interpret images accurately. They will also possess excellent leadership attributes, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

The Radiology service at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is dedicated to facilitating continuous professional development and role extension/advanced practice. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to develop their skills and expertise in plain film image reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting plain film images accurately and efficiently
  • Providing high-quality patient care, with a focus on safety and patient satisfaction
  • Contributing to the development of the Radiology service, through participation in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Postgraduate training in plain film reporting
  • Experience in radiography, with a focus on plain film image reporting
  • Excellent leadership attributes, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
