Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Medicines Management Support Worker to join our team at the East of England Ambulance Trust. As a key member of our Medicines Management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient distribution of medicines to our ambulance stations across the region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with stock inventory and ordering of medicines within the Medicines Management Department.
  • Support the delivery of medicines to our ambulance stations and main stores, ensuring accurate stock levels and rotation.
  • Provide technical pharmacy support to the Trust, enabling us to improve the quality and care of our patients.
  • Collaborate with the Stores Team to ensure seamless delivery of medicines and stock management.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on stock levels, orders, and deliveries.
Person Specification
  • NVQ level 3 in an appropriate subject or equivalent experience.
  • GCSE of C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
Desirable Criteria
  • Medicines management qualifications.
  • Previous experience within Healthcare.
  • Experience working in Medicine Management.
Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of current legislation relevant to medicines.
