The Goodwood Estate is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Retail Service Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with the retail team to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to Goodwood's high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing stock, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, enabling you to provide expert advice and recommendations to our guests.

Requirements

  • Positive and friendly attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of golf is beneficial but not essential.
