The successful candidate will have a Special Interest in Hand and Wrist Surgery and will be responsible for participating in the Trauma On-call service, operation lists, ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and other departmental duties.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the Trauma On-call service, ensuring timely and effective response to trauma cases.
- Conduct operation lists, including elective and trauma surgeries, with a focus on Hand and Wrist Surgery.
- Perform regular ward rounds to ensure patient care and well-being.
- Manage outpatient clinics, including elective and trauma cases, with a focus on Hand and Wrist Surgery.
- Develop and maintain a Specialist interest in Hand and Wrist Surgery, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and research.
- Present monthly mortality and morbidity statistics to the department, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and train middle-grade staff, ensuring their development and growth.
- Participate in management duties within the department and the Trust, contributing to strategic decision-making.
