Chewton Glen, a luxury country house hotel & spa, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of exercise classes to our members and guests, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, and contributing to the overall success of our fitness and wellness programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach a range of exercise classes, including group fitness, personal training, and wellness programs, to members and guests of all ages and fitness levels.
- Develop and implement new exercise programs and classes to meet the needs of our members and guests.
- Conduct fitness assessments and provide personalized coaching to help members and guests achieve their fitness goals.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all members and guests, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and best practices, and share your knowledge with colleagues to enhance our fitness and wellness programs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as spa and wellness, to promote a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Requirements
- Specialist qualifications and experience in exercise instruction, personal training, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a leisure or hospitality setting, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Enthusiasm for promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, and a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and members/guests of all ages and fitness levels.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
