Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our client's team in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect goods to building merchants and construction sites.
  • Operate HIAB vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with construction sites' health and safety codes of practice.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work flexibly to complete runs safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months' recent experience as a HGV Class 2 driver.
  • Minimum 12 months' experience driving HIAB vehicles.
  • British driving licence, CPC, and DIGI tachograph cards.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence.
  • Ability to wear correct PPE, including high-visibility clothing and safety boots.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £20 per hour.
  • Overtime pay after 8 hours.
  • Guaranteed minimum 8 hours' pay per shift.
