Job Title: Service Engineer for Energy Solutions

Objective:

As a key member of our dedicated Services Team, your objective will be to perform on-site technical support aimed at enhancing energy efficiency across client facilities. You will uphold exceptional industry standards while fostering a culture of innovation and transformation within our sector.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Execute both Condition Monitoring and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on Schneider Electric's Building Management Systems throughout various client locations.
  • Implement strategies to optimize energy consumption, enhance user satisfaction, and resolve client concerns effectively.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to assist with after-hours client emergencies.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations and organizational policies.
  • Produce comprehensive reports to provide added value to our clients.
Required Skills and Attributes:
  • Proficiency in diagnosing software issues, with experience in any of the following: Building Management Systems, PLCs, Automated Control Systems, SCADA, Web Services, or Cloud-based Systems.
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems/HVAC is advantageous but not mandatory. (Our specialized teams will offer training and system exposure.)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on learning from experiences and sharing best practices.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and familiarity with technical drawings is desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT system configurations, including addressing and port setups, is beneficial.
  • A strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Sustainability practices.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Capable of engaging effectively with diverse audiences.
Educational Background:
  • Qualifications in an engineering field (preferably electrical, though not essential), along with excellent communication skills and a strong motivation to excel both independently and as part of a team.
