About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our team at Daksta | Connecting Mission Critical Talent. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Business Unit Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager in the consistent rollout of company strategy and expectations within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidance, and other relevant documents.
  • Conduct high-quality safety inspections of workplaces at a frequency and with the intrusiveness as coached by the Business Unit Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager.
  • Perform risk reviews and alert your line manager if there are signs of deterioration or lack of ownership in delivering bespoke client safety requirements.
  • Assist the Business Unit Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager with tender and prequalification submissions, advising on Health, Safety, and Environmental concerns, and helping to provide practical solutions.
  • Coach staff at all levels in Health, Safety, and Environmental expectations and standards.
  • Foster innovative ideas for enhanced safety performance.
  • Deliver appropriate training and have and share knowledge and advice with teams on environmental principles and management.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Health, Safety, and Environmental professional with pharmaceutical experience.
  • NEBOSH Construction Diploma or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 4 / EFQ L5 in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Temporary Works Awareness, including knowledge of the Temporary Works Coordinator role.
  • Incident Investigation Training.
