Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Advisor to join a leading Civil Engineering and Tunnelling company. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the company's northern operations, from the Midlands to Cumbria.
Key Responsibilities:- Aid project management teams in maintaining the highest Health, Safety & Environmental standards across all projects.
- Take ownership of SHEQ Policy, Accident and Incident reporting, COSHH Procedures, Site preparation for new projects, CDM procedures and implementation, and Coordinate toolbox talks and produce flash safety reports.
- Develop and implement training programs.
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective management reports.
- Implement and maintain Environmental Management Policy and Procedures, Human Resource Management Policy and Procedures, and Safety Office Maintenance.
- Desirable HND in Civil Engineering or Construction.
- Minimum of a NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- Experience within the tunnelling and mining industry is highly beneficial.
- Experience in a Quality Control role on a major project.
- Proficiency in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience with lifting equipment.
- Hands-on Advisor comfortable on-site liaising with main contractors and site staff.
- Salary: up to £60k.
- Discretionary company bonus.
- Death in Service 4 x salary.
