About the Role

The Scientific Support Specialist is a key member of our team at Revvity, responsible for providing expert scientific support to our customers. This role requires a strong background in molecular biology and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific guidance and support to customers through various communication channels, including email, phone, and webchat.

  • Stay up-to-date with our dynamic portfolio of products, solutions, and services, and effectively communicate this knowledge to customers.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support, R&D, and product management, to resolve customer issues and improve our products and services.

  • Support local and international field-based teams by providing scientific expertise and guidance.

  • Continuously develop and improve soft skills to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of technical documents and web content for new and existing products.

  • Represent Revvity as a front-line customer service representative, ensuring professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Biological Sciences.

  • Fluent in Chinese Mandarin spoken and written.

  • 1-2+ years of hands-on practical experience in standard molecular and cellular biology techniques and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with gene editing and/or RNAi.

  • Previous technical or customer support experience.

  • Experience using a CRM.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail essential.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong self-motivation and focus.
