Key Responsibilities: Delivering expert leadership and support to Systems Engineering teams and Model-Based Systems Engineering practitioners, ensuring effective application of systems engineering principles. Collaborating with the Chief Systems Engineer to conduct regular assessments on projects, verifying the correct interpretation and implementation of Systems Engineering guidelines. Offering coaching, training, and on-demand assistance to Systems Engineering professionals. Providing consultancy to Systems Engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering framework leaders to ensure cohesive and practical application of frameworks. Engaging with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure their specialized requirements are integrated and maintained within Systems Engineering activities. Keeping abreast of advancements and best practices in Systems Engineering to make informed decisions regarding their integration into business operations. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential: A degree in a STEM field or a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Strong understanding of modern systems engineering methodologies applied to large-scale system development across various system types. Proficiency in Systems Engineering technical methods and practices, including ontologies, modeling languages, architecture frameworks, processes, and tools. Chartered status or progress towards it. Desirable: Familiarity with the BAE Systems Engineering Delivery Framework or similar methodologies. Benefits:

About the Systems Engineering Team:

This role involves assisting the Chief Systems Engineer across multiple programs, collaborating closely with program teams to implement best practices. You will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, from senior program leaders to specialized suppliers and contractors, providing extensive exposure across the organization and opening up exciting developmental pathways. Relocation support packages are available for eligible roles.
