About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions, as well as providing clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical leadership and expertise to junior staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services.
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective intervention plans to promote health and independence in individuals with complex needs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Professional Development: Support the development of junior staff, including occupational therapy students, through mentorship and supervision.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice in occupational therapy.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Occupational Therapy profession qualification and UK HCPC Registration.
  • Experience: Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on complex needs and neurodiverse individuals.
  • Skills: Highly effective clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to apply occupational frames of reference and approaches.
  • Knowledge: Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models, with a focus on neurodiverse individuals.
