Advanced Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Paediatric Neuro Physiotherapist to join our team at The Portland Hospital, London. As a key member of our Physiotherapy department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children with neurological conditions.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric neuro physiotherapy, with experience in assessing and treating children with a range of neurological conditions. You will be confident in your ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- To assess and diagnose paediatric patients with neurological conditions, using expert clinical reasoning and observation skills.
- To develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans, based on evidence-based practice and treatment options.
- To provide physiotherapy intervention to children with diverse or complex pathology/presentations, including those with foreign language barriers or cognitive/perceptual difficulties.
- To provide clinical support to more junior members of staff and across other areas of the hospital.
- To work flexibly to the needs of the service and participate in the out-of-hours weekend and standby service as required.
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Experience of NICU / follow-up of premature babies desirable.
- Experience working within in-patient and out-patient settings within an acute hospital.
- Experience working across other disciplines within physiotherapy e.g. rotations.
