The ideal candidate will be responsible for visiting customer homes to measure for flooring, creating detailed floor plans, liaising with installers, and providing exceptional service in-store. This role requires physical capability as it involves assisting with loading and unloading in the warehouse, as well as performing administrative tasks and ordering goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits to measure and assess flooring requirements.
- Create detailed floor plans and coordinate with installers to ensure precise installations.
- Manage in-store customer interactions, including taking deposits and finalizing sales.
- Assist with the physical handling of goods in the warehouse, including loading and unloading deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records by updating databases and handling administrative tasks efficiently.
- Order goods and manage inventory to ensure availability of products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with clients professionally.
- Experience in measuring and planning for flooring installations.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks in the warehouse.
- Proficient in administrative duties and database management.
- Competent in handling financial transactions and taking deposits.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
