Supervising Social Worker Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a caseload of 10-12 carers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care for children in placement.
- Work closely with carers to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting positive outcomes for children.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions to monitor carer performance, provide feedback, and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and carers, to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting children and families.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of carer supervision, including progress notes and action plans.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with experience working with children and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with carers and other professionals.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014.
