About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drainage Project Lead to join our Rail Northwest & Central Business Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for managing drainage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute drainage projects within the Rail sector, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with other design disciplines, including civil, structural, and environmental engineers, to ensure seamless integration of drainage systems into overall project designs.
  • Obtain necessary consents and approvals from relevant authorities for all drainage works.
  • Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with national standards and Arcadis' internal procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and contractors, fostering open communication and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing drainage projects within the rail industry.
  • Proficiency in relevant drainage design software and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
