Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Drainage Engineer to join our Rail Northwest & Central Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing drainage projects or components of projects, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting or exceeding client expectations.

In this role, you will collaborate with other design disciplines to maintain the overall integrity of the design or solution. Strategic project planning, efficient resource allocation, and quality assurance are essential aspects of this position. Building effective working relationships with the Project Director or Manager and clients is crucial for clear communication of progress, changes, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and allocate resources to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with design disciplines to maintain design integrity.
  • Ensure quality assurance through review of project outputs.
  • Build effective relationships with project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in building drainage, earthworks drainage, rail/highways drainage.
  • Experience in obtaining consents from authorities.
  • Proficiency in drainage tools and software.
  • Relevant experience in supervising project elements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
