Position: Site Manager
As a Site Manager, you will be integral to our Project Team, overseeing significant electrical and civil construction projects. This role involves managing operations from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily activities of site personnel and subcontractors.
- Develop and enforce safety documentation, including Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
- Conduct site inductions and identify training needs for staff.
- Maintain client relationships through regular audits and progress meetings.
- Manage procurement of materials using digital systems.
- Report any site variations or issues to your line manager.
- Compile necessary documentation and As Built records for project handover.
- Issue all required site construction permits.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operational construction.
- A minimum of five years of verifiable work history.
- Clear criminal record and ability to obtain necessary security passes.
- Full driving license and capability to work in confined spaces.
- Relevant safety qualifications, such as IOSH.
- Knowledge of electrical distribution networks and compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
As a manager, you will hold both legal and organizational responsibilities for the health and safety of your team and any affected parties. It is crucial to ensure that all personnel understand the risks associated with their tasks and apply the necessary controls to mitigate these risks.
