Job Overview:
In the role of Packaging Solutions Specialist, you will take charge of crafting pioneering packaging strategies that align with regulatory requirements and fulfill customer expectations. Your collaboration with packaging vendors will be essential, as you gather client specifications and create comprehensive estimates for packaging components and associated costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate and design new packaging solutions that comply with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Engage with packaging suppliers to procure materials and negotiate favorable terms.
- Interpret client briefs to ensure their specifications are accurately addressed.
- Prepare detailed estimates for packaging components and overall cost packages.
- Conduct feasibility assessments and risk evaluations for new packaging initiatives.
- Maintain and update packaging specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise packaging trials and validation processes to guarantee quality and performance.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in packaging technologies and materials.
- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards, including GMP and ISO.
- Provide technical assistance and resolve packaging-related challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging development, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
- Comprehensive understanding of packaging technologies and their applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
