Job Title: Dayshift Parcel Sorters

Ashton Recruitment is seeking reliable and flexible individuals to work as Dayshift Parcel Sorters at our client's facility in Nutts Corner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading lorries
  • Sorting parcels into geographical areas based on postcodes
  • General housekeeping within the warehouse
  • Assisting other warehouse operatives to meet deadlines
  • Scanning products using hand-held scanners
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehousing environment
  • Own transport necessary due to location of the warehouse
  • Applicants must be over 18 due to the nature of work
Working Conditions:

The warehouse operates 6 days a week, with candidates able to choose their own days. The working hours are 12pm to 8pm, with occasional Sunday shifts from 10am to 6.30pm. The rate of pay is £11.50 to £11.75 per hour for those over 21, and £10.50 per hour for those under 21.

As a Dayshift Parcel Sorter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, adhering to all health and safety procedures, and working collaboratively with other team members to meet deadlines.
