Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Desirable Skills:

  • LGV1 (Class 1) license or desire to obtain.
  • Knowledge of coaching and development techniques.
  • Proficient computer literacy/keyboard skills.

Working Conditions:

The Warehouse Team Leader will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
