Role Overview
The Athlete Relations Manager is pivotal in enhancing the Athlete Program at AYBL. This role involves the strategic identification and recruitment of new athletes, the adept management of existing partnerships, and the facilitation of a seamless experience for our athletes. The primary goal is to drive profitability while aligning with our brand objectives, making this position vital for our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit relevant athletes to join AYBL's Athlete Program.
- Manage relationships with current athletes, ensuring a smooth collaboration through various communication channels.
- Oversee the fulfillment of contractual obligations by athletes to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute campaigns, content creation, photoshoots, and events.
- Participate in a commission structure based on the successful identification, signing, and management of athletes.
Additional Duties:
- Communicate product launches, restocks, and events to athletes, ensuring they have the latest information.
- Maintain regular communication with athletes to provide support and enhance their success.
- Keep the influencer database and related documents updated.
- Attend photoshoots and events with athletes as needed, assisting in planning and preparation.
- Negotiate contracts and payment terms with athletes and their representatives to maximize opportunities for AYBL.
- Provide performance feedback to management regarding athlete collaborations.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with male influencers is preferred.
- A strong passion for the fitness and athleisure industry.
- Interest in social media trends and emerging athlete talent.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
