As our organization expands and the number of travelers increases, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join the Parking Operations team at East Midlands Airport. We are in search of exceptional talent to assist us in our commitment to providing 'seamless travel' experiences for our clients. Ideal candidates will possess outstanding customer service abilities, a readiness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with vehicles. The successful applicant will collaborate with a skilled team managing 170,000 vehicle movements and overseeing 15,000 parking spaces.
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for:
- Safely maneuvering and parking a diverse range of vehicles, from compact cars to luxury models.
- Acting as the representative of our landside operations, engaging with passengers at parking barriers and sharing your expertise about the airport.
- Being the welcoming presence in our meet and greet area.
- Utilizing our parking management systems and specialized equipment.
- Demonstrating a commitment to working in all weather conditions to ensure a smooth travel experience at all times.
Key Qualifications for Success
The ideal candidate will be a cautious and skilled driver with a manual UK Driving License held for a minimum of 2 years, and no more than 3 penalty points. Additionally, you should:
- Enjoy interacting with a diverse range of individuals, possess strong customer service skills, and have a genuine desire to provide exceptional service to our clients.
- Have basic computer proficiency, as experience with computer systems is essential for this role.
- Be willing to work flexibly and effectively in all weather conditions, as we operate 24 hours a day.
- Have a passion for automobiles; if you have a love for cars, you will appreciate the importance of caring for our customers' vehicles and be comfortable driving both manual and automatic transmissions.
