Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated graduate or psychology student to join our team as a Psychology Placement Opportunity. This role will provide the ideal candidate with the opportunity to develop their skills in educational therapy, mental health, and support work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assist children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Work closely with 2 children who are non-verbal
  • Support pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitor and record interventions
Requirements
  • A hardworking graduate/student with strong academics and a passion for learning
  • Previous experience with children and SEN/SEMH needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with non-verbal children
  • Previous experience working 1:1
  • Someone resilient and able to overcome challenges
