Kitchen Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Catering Supervisor to join our team at Fife Council. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality food services to our residents in care homes throughout Fife.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the preparation and serving of meals in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP procedures and maintain accurate records of food preparation and service.
- Manage staff working in the kitchen, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Understand and meet the dietary and nutritional needs of residents, ensuring that meals are tailored to their requirements.
- Transport and serve meals, as well as perform general kitchen and dining room duties.
- Catering experience or a relevant qualification, such as an SVQ or City & Guilds certificate.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide a regular and effective service.
- Capacity to travel throughout Fife, with a limited timescale.
- Willingness to attend Induction Training and obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
- Competitive salary of £23,633.23 - £25,829.49 (pro-rata) with enhancements for shift work, including weekends.
