About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing teams in various care homes across the region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel across the region to manage and develop teams in various care homes
  • Implement action plans to ensure resident needs are met
  • Take on leadership duties in the absence of the General Manager
  • Help with everything from care standards to motivating teams
  • Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance
  • Set the highest standards and develop strategies to achieve goals

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration
  • Teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification
  • Previous experience working in a nursing home setting
  • Evidence of continual professional development
  • Experience helping residents with different health needs
  • Successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship
