Branch Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Branch/Yard Assistant to join our team at Tessenderlo Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our branch.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Pick and process customer orders accurately, meeting deadlines and maintaining high levels of quality.
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline, and maintain accurate records.
- Serve customers on the trade counter, providing product information and resolving queries.
- Interact with customers, building strong relationships and promoting our products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to accurately process orders and maintain records.
- A hardworking and helpful individual, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- An understanding of health and safety protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- A good understanding of computer systems and software.
- A forklift truck license, with the ability to operate safely and efficiently.
