We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at Smithers MSE Ltd. This is a 6-month fixed-term position based at our Shawbury site, supporting our small Facilities team with preventative and reactive maintenance across all areas of the site.

The role will involve:

  • Managing projects and meeting project deadlines to ensure business continuity
  • Undertaking and coordinating maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and executing maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines
  • Participating in the scheduling, communication, and delivery of effective preventative maintenance
  • Ensuring that contractors are selected, inducted to site, and deliver a safe service

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Computer literacy, particularly in Excel and Word
  • Qualifications to enable maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Project management skills
