Job Title: Senior Media Relations Manager

At DiverseJobsMatter, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Media Relations Manager to join our media and communications team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our corporate communications strategy and engaging with the media to promote the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead projects with organisation-wide significance, working with external and internal partners to deliver effective and consistent communications in support of our business goals.
  • Work with the Head of Media and Communications and colleagues in the team to deliver our in-house press office function, shaping the media engagement strategy and developing relationships with journalists.
  • Produce proactive and reactive content, identify and brief spokespeople, and develop media monitoring and evaluation measures.
  • Report coverage and relevant news to the wider business and act as a business partner and advisor to teams across the organisation.
  • Work closely with the wider corporate affairs team, brand and marketing teams to maximise opportunities to raise awareness and manage our reputation.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in working in a media relations role and demonstrable experience of running successful external communications campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent copy-editing skills.
  • A highly organised individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
