About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Engineer to join our team at North. As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing our wide range of field equipment, including Fire and Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV, Access Control, Audio Visual, and Public Address & Voice Alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission fire safety equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide high levels of customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct site surveys to understand customer requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota, providing technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and planned visits.
  • Complete documentation in line with company standards, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Work within strict Health and Safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications and certifications, such as BAFE/SSAIB/NSI accreditation.
  • Technical expertise in fire safety equipment and systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and self-motivation, with a willingness to travel and work on-site.
  • Full UK driving license and DBS clearance (for working in public sector environments).
