Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to various company or client locations within the UK or internationally.

This role is a Fixed Term Contract for a duration of 12 months.

We are seeking to hire an individual for a fixed term contract (12 months).


The Warehouse Operative will report directly to the Warehouse Team Leader. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and adaptable, possessing the capability to assess incoming materials, both mechanical and electrical, ensuring they meet specifications outlined in drawings, company standards, and customer requirements. The candidate will be responsible for accepting or rejecting items in accordance with established procedures and completing necessary transactions within the company inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct basic inspections of raw materials, electrical components, and purchased assemblies to ensure compliance with company and/or customer standards and specifications, and document findings.
2. Maintain and retrieve Test & Inspection records as required.
3. Provide guidance and support to Supply Chain and manufacturing teams regarding company standards.
4. Collaborate with purchasing and planning departments as needed.
5. Work alongside the Supply Chain to enhance throughput processes and identify underperforming suppliers or supply chain issues.
6. Operate the Reach forklift truck, company vehicles, and crane as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Holds English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at grade A*-C/9-4.
- ESD - Electrostatic awareness - Desirable (training can be provided).
- Reach forklift truck license - Desirable (training can be provided).
- Overhead electrical crane license (training can be arranged).
