At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift Driver roles to work with an important company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management, providing services such as warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.

Shift Patterns:

  • Flexibility is required, weekend work requires OT
  • Monday to Thursday 07:45-16:45/or 08:00-17:00, Friday 07:45-12:45 or 08:00-13:00

Pay Rates

  • 12.47ph

As a Forklift Driver you will need to have:

  • Valid or recently expired forklift certification
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job as this role requires some manual handling skills

Role of a Forklift Driver:

  • Operating Forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials, products, or equipment within the facility.
  • The role will involve working outdoors
  • The majority of the work will be off the truck, TLT unloading/reloading, Putaway, GRN Checking, Traffic controller and general housekeeping
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, trailers, or containers using the forklift, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
  • Material Handling: Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or designated locations using the forklift.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by documenting the movement of materials and reporting discrepancies.
  • Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of material movements, deliveries, and other relevant information.
