In this position, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, assisting the team in planning and organizing activities for both individual and group therapy sessions. Your ability to build strong relationships with service users will be key in encouraging their participation in activities that support their recovery journey.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with Occupational Therapists, Nurses, and other professionals to develop and assess care plans.
- Guiding service users towards achieving their personal goals and accessing appropriate services.
- Maintaining precise records by updating service user healthcare documentation.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or an equivalent NVQ2.
- Previous experience in a similar environment, particularly in Mental Health.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
