Position Overview:
Hexagon Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a Junior Financial Analyst to join a prominent player in the construction sector, known for its commitment to quality and innovation.

Role Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be instrumental in enhancing and overseeing the financial operations of our client. Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparation and examination of financial documents and reports for multiple legal entities, ensuring adherence to accounting principles.
  • Management of weekly and occasional sales invoicing.
  • Oversight of the general ledger, ensuring precise recording of all financial transactions.
  • Processing of supplier and subcontractor invoices.
  • Conducting regular account reconciliations, including bank statement reviews.
  • Assisting in the formulation of budgets and financial projections.
  • Facilitating internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws and reporting obligations.
  • Collaborating with various departments to enhance financial processes and support organizational goals.
  • Leading the preparation and submission of tax returns, including CIS, PAYE, P11D, and VAT.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous.
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A flexible approach to work, demonstrating a willingness to contribute to team success.

Compensation and Benefits:
