This role offers an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of accounting duties, including:
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts and management accounts
- Bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Corporate taxation
- Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects as required
You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to large multinational groups, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment. This role offers exposure to a broad range of industries and financial matters, giving you the chance to learn and grow in your role.
Full support will be provided throughout your training, including a comprehensive study package with paid course fees and guaranteed study leave.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring a strong academic background and a genuine passion for pursuing a career in accounting. You should be eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key requirements include:
- A university degree, with at least a 2:1 classification (preferably in a related subject such as Accounting, Finance, or Business)
- Excellent computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- An excellent telephone manner and confident communication skills
- The ability to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines
A positive attitude, good problem-solving abilities, and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in accounting will help you succeed in this role.
