Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Development Underwriter to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Property and Casualty team, you will play a critical role in developing and growing our business, working closely with brokers and other stakeholders to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide expert advice on insurance solutions to clients

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business growth strategies

• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Development Underwriter or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Property and Casualty insurance

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide expert advice

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
